As we approach mid January, I cannot help but to think forward to the next holiday: VALENTINE'S DAY! Valentine's Day means flowers, sweets, and PAPER! While I get my fair share of x's and o's from my little loves, I'm really excited to see who will be sending out Valentine's Day cards and looking through all of the school valentines that Paxton will be getting. Now I've got to decide... glow sticks or glow worms? Do I put candy in the Valentine? When I was growing up, I couldn't imagine NOT getting candy with my Valentines, but these days everyone is so... strict? uptight? I don't know what. While I was eating hot cheetos and mexican candy every day at school, my child can't even take a rice crispy treat in his lunch. So on Valentine's day, the one day where you CAN bring candy to school, do I? Paxton's Valentine this year will read, "You make my heart GLOW!" But will it be accompanied with glow sticks or glow gummy worms? Let me know what you think.

Last year, my printer could NOT get it together and I was unable to print the really cute cards I designed. Instead, I had to hand paint 20 something cards for Paxton's classroom. Here are some photos of the end product (oh, & last year I chose CANDY!):
