Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of posts this last week. I've had some family stuff going on and it's hard to focus on any one thing while on this emotional roller coaster. The family issues mixed in with the murder of a super talented, young, female artist on Friday night and then the horrific mass murders last night, have got me a little pissed at the world.
Anyway! I've only got 2 more weeks of my challenge left! We haven't measured or weighed ourselves since the very beginning and because I don't have a scale or a flexible measuring tape, I have no idea what kind of changes have happened. I'll let you know in 2 weeks!
I have been sticking to the Paleo diet on weekdays but because life happens, I've been giving myself the weekends to just go with the flow. I will say that I have continued to be dairy free even on the weekends and when no one is looking because the one time I did eat a bowl of cereal with real milk instead of almond milk, I felt sick the entire day afterwards. Dairy is not good for you, people. I have had less headaches and felt just better over all during these last couple weeks without dairy. I thought I would miss my sour cream and cheese way more than I do.
Workouts have been killer this last week! On "fun" Friday we did an entire 30 minutes of legs followed by an entire 30 minutes of abs. If you've never gotten on your back and tried to keep your elbows touching your knees while someone is moving and rocking your body all over, be grateful. Because it's hard to do and it kills your abs. Here are some examples of what we do after Krav Maga instruction for 30 minutes straight:
